One of the Würth Group companies, Würth Industrie France S.A.S., recognized the need to transfer the Sales Order Booking process to focus on core operations and enhance overall operational efficiency. This case study highlights how we successfully executed Sales Order Booking process, resulting in streamlined operations and improved customer satisfaction.

Problem:

Prior to transferring the Sales Order Booking process, the customer faced several challenges. The extensive manual checks of order and article details led to time-consuming tasks and a higher risk of errors. 2. Systematic Sales Order Booking: Upon successful validation of order and article details, we booked the SO into the SAP system and generated a unique sales order number. This streamlined the booking process, providing order confirmations as soon as possible and a platform to access the entire information at a single place.

Results:

The implementation of the Sales Order Booking process yielded significant benefits for Würth Industrie France S.A.S. Key results included:

1. Enhanced Efficiency: Our Sales Operations Support Team spent hours in data validation and sales order booking. This, in turn, significantly improved operational efficiency for the customer. Our dedicated and competent team members focused on booking the accurate orders, allowing the customer to focus on more strategic tasks, such as customer service and order fulfillment.
